    The year of the disaster?

    Was looking at BBC news, and realized something after a few minutes. Some of the stories 2 days after the new years:

    BBC News - Queensland city flooding 'faster than expected'
    BBC News - Earthquake hits off central Chile coast
    BBC News - Tornadoes kill seven in south and mid-western US

    plus a plane crash already. Just found it kind of interesting, not that I actually think the world is going to end or anything because of this :P
