With Arizona, I would put my money more on the industries going to shit, causing unemployment and budget problems. Copper took a nose dive for awhile, the housing bubble burst destroyed construction industries, and the recession put a dent in tourism.

Exactly. I'm not saying that AZ and TX are the only states with deficits, and I'm surely not saying that those 2 are the only one with illegals. There are an estimated 12 million in the US, and that number grows everyday.

It is not secret that Medicare/Medicaid are the single biggest contributor to our national debt, and I'm willing to bet most states debt.

We really need to do something about it, and Obama's planned would of helped alot, but at the expense of most americans. So i guess its back to the drawing bored.
