Those RUBBER tracks under the thing won't damage the street AT ALL. You'd have to have a pretty heavy machine to damage concrete/asphalt with rubber tracks.

The footpaths, and such he's heading to WOULD see damage.

Even with the rubber tracks on a hot day it would scar asphalt. Happens all the time around here but we probably get a little warmer then he his going to see. The sidewalk depend on there construction.
