Would rather have me call him a non-front line soldier? It still wouldn't change the fact that he didn't know what he was talking about. And contributing to my country? I'll be teaching future generations of engineers and scientists how physics works, which in turn helps to improve countless industries and the economy. So, you're off there.

I respect soldiers who serve in war. But like hell I'm going to respect someone who hasn't had to face death. I respect those who have faced death because I have faced death myself on multiple occasions. Saying that a pogue is the same as a frontline soldier is like saying that an arm wrestler is the same as a UFC fighter.
