What do you think you know about my service? By all means speak up and im make the correction when needed. Just so you get a brief idea ordnance hits the ground with infantry and starts build up and i have stared at war on 3 occasions but we never got the word for the plane we were on to take off. You may not think im the sharpest tool in the shed but you have learned by now im sharp enough to get under someones skin if needed and its always a last resort.

Money plays a huge a factor as well (though technically that ties into ignorance as well). In my experience a lot of healthy food the initial cost is high, but it ends up cheaper in the long run over a couple burgers from McD. For example, depending on what you put in and produce costs, it could be 6 dollars to make a salad for lunch, or a couple bucks to get lunch at McD. The 2nd sounds much cheaper, but the stuff you buy for the salad you can use over again, making it likely the same price or cheaper to make, say 3 salads, then eat McD 3 times.
For some people though the initial cost is hard to make on a shoestring budget, so they go eat crap food because it's cheap. I know, personally, I eat more TV dinners and Ramen then I do healthy things like salad, bread, etc. because its quicker and cheaper (in the short term) for the 1st two (plus spoilage kills the life of more expensive things).
Obviously there are plenty of people who can afford to eat healthy, that choose not to (When i have a fair bit of cash, I'm also in that category), but its hard to think of a way you can really get those people to change their habits, outside of major medical complications happening to them.
