In all cases of which I am aware the "protesters" are not permitted to be on the actual funeral grounds, and in fact in many places are required to be even out of shouting distance. In a few ugly cases they have been able to heckle those walking into the funeral, but I understand that to be earlier episodes before people understood what dicks they were.

See i would disagree. Its one thing to protest laws, companies, human right movements, so forth and a completely different thing to celebrate the death of a soldier by chanting he deserved to die in front of a grieving family. They are not the same and quite a despicable act. I for one on a jury would come back with a not guilt verdict if a family member killed one of these stupid fuckers.

From what I recall, they aren't calling the soldiers gay but because people accept gays the soldiers died, which the WBC people cheer about.

The only thing I have to say on the subject is that I believe what WBC does/says to be along the lines of fighting words, and should not be protected. But, that is my opinion and belief on the matter.

It should be protected, in the legal sense. But seeing as they are "fightin' words", others ought to be able to respond to those words with physicality.

I would love to see those idiots take a good old fashioned ass whipping. I have said it many times though on here. One of our biggest issues as a society is accountability.

Protesting at a funeral is just wrong.
