As for the debris, the idea that it was taken away without studying is just ANOTHER conspiracy theorist lie. If you read the NIST report or the FEMA 403 report you'll see that the debris were studied, and that samples of all the debris are being kept safe in storage yards.

Don't take these conspiracy people at their words guys. Don't just buy into everything someone tells you. Ask for proof. And I don't mean leading questions ("But wouldn't we expect the hole to be much wider?") or wild speculation. Hundreds of REAL engineers, scientists and mechanics have studied this event and they almost unanimously agree that everything that happened that day was a result of two passenger jets ramming the WTC towers at full speed.

Not being an engineer or an expert I look at both the same. I definitely don't just take the governments word for it nor do I fully side with the conspiracy side. You say hundreds have unanimously agreed, but there are hundreds who don't. Like here: Sign the Petition

Being an outsider how do you decide what information is real? How do you determine who's telling the truth? Unless there are people here that had first hand knowledge and worked on the investigation we are all internet researchers.

So I'll play along, let's go.

1. Who is behind it? The owners of WTC7, the government, Bush?
2. If it is a conspiracy then the terrorists who flew the planes were "our" terrorists, no Osama's. If Osama knows this, and truly wants to topple America, then the easiest way is to say he had nothing to do with it, and those men were led by __________. Or maybe Osama is on the take as well, but then that would mean Clinton was part of the conspiracy as well.
3. So how deep does it go?

1. The man behind the curtain.
2. A secret government force run by Jack Bauer.
3. Thats what she said.

If someone were to truly provide a plausible motive, means, and opportunity I am willing to listen. If it is just something along the lines of it was too hot then I am not interested.

Anyone can sign a petition, none of these people have written peer reviewed papers on the mechanism of collapse. Not to mention that a lot of these people might not even agree the with the conspiracy, but simply want an independent study done, which is reasonable.

Unfortunately when you look through those signatures you will notice that the vast majority of them of students or recently graduated. Again it speaks of opinion, assertions and misinformation over actual scientific study.

So let's break it down.

9/11 happens.

People want to know why/how it happened.

A MASSIVE investigation and equally massive report are conducted which explain everything that happened.

People ask why/how it happened.


See the problem here? All these conspiracy theorists are constantly asking questions that have ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED. If you guys still feel in the dark about something, like I said, go read the NIST report (It's fucking massive, so I would skim to parts you're interested in, or read the FAQ). It's all explained, it's all studied, it's all answered for you.

If you read the NIST report, and still feel in the dark, then you should definitely go do some of your own research and see what you can come up with. Otherwise, you're going to be like every other conspiracy theorist: spouting blind speculation and leading questions left and right, while offering no hard data or research to back it up.

I guess the biggest mythbuster to me is that Justin Bieber can't take a shit without TMZ knowing about it. How the hell can people cover up something this large without ANYONE leaking it?

This is classic conspiracist logic. Just because it would be inconvenient to the powers that be if something were true does not make it true.

Someone did the math. If 9/11 were an inside job, the number of people who knew better who would have had to lie about it reaches several hundred thousand. That's an awful lot of bribery and/or intimidation, don't you think?
