HAHA I love it. I have been to so many accident scenes where people were terrified of an explosion. I have been to hundreds of wrecks and countless car fires. The closest thing to an explosion is when the airbag charge lights, good enough bang to make rookies cringe. Tires will sometimes pop like a balloon. I think only once or twice have i seen a car catch on fire from an accident. On the local news there was a police car that burst in to flames when the impact was directly on the fuel tank. Now I have seen one car "explode" but it was a older car that was running in a garage and had a fuel leak that put a fine mist under the hood. It ignited and blew the hell out of the garage. The fire in the engine compartment was minimal and the three garage walls were blown outward about 6-10"

The other part I liked was the cigarette lighting gas. The only way we ever made this work was by connect a O2 hose up to the cigarette and turning it on so that the cig burned hot and fast. And dont even get me started on firefighter movies... Let me wear an airpack but not put the mask on... Oh wow the lpg fire is so awesome!

lol, I approve this message. Although, what you are forgetting is loaded bumpers. Most cars today have spring loaded bumpers to absorb impact in crashes. These are deadly if not watched while working on a car, especially one on fire. IF that bumper goes, you will loose a leg in a heartbeat.

and whatever flame. Backdraft was the most real movie ever!!!! There is NEVER smoke in buildings, its all fire, with perfect camera angles....and if there is smoke, its very light...
