Oddly enough as smart as some people think they are in here i would put money on the fact not one person in this forum understands every tax code there is. I watched the supreme court justices try to interprete the tax codes and they failed. Not on every one they looked at but enough to realise that the system is fundamentally fucked up. Even they stated the codes should be written so an average person can read them not just lawyers. They went on to say that the Constitution has 4400 words in and the IRS tax book has over 1 million. Then noted on record that the number of codes and changes in tax codes make it impossible for the average person to stay current and within the current laws. The family won their case and their debt was exsponged.
