The gist of the article is that over the last 5 years there have been numerous all expenses paid for conferences held to teach pastors how to get involved in politics without violating IRS rules.
There's also this gem (I have nothing against the right to bear arms btw):

They heard Newt Gingrich, a former House speaker and like Mr. Huckabee a possible 2012 presidential candidate, say that constitutional liberties like the right to bear arms were ordained by God.

did I miss the part where god said somewhere: "And thine shall haveth the right to bear thein sword and thein shield..."

Through an evening banquet and long sessions, they heard speakers deplore a secular assault on evangelical Christian verities like the sanctity of male-female marriage, the humanity of the unborn and the divine right to limited government.

I wonder if God (should he exist) would agree...

I also like Barbour on how dem evil liberals are trying to take religion out of politics!! Because, we all know religion should totally play a role in government right?
