I mean honestly, the blockade isn't working to curb Hamas. It just reinforces the death grip they have on power. It is a failed policy.

No, I assume it has failed because Hamas still has a death grip on power. To stop the violence, part of the solution is to remove Hamas from power. The other part is to curb the radical Israelis.

I agree with you that the policy has failed miserably, but I disagree that the solution should include removing Hamas. Remember, Hamas was elected by Gazans to represent Gaza. Having an outside source go in and remove Hamas from power isn't going to go over well and won't solve any of the underlying problems. What you have to look at is WHY Gazans would elect Hamas and address those issues. Hamas is a symptom of the problems, and once you remove those problems, Hamas will either go away or drastically soften their extremism. One of those issues, obviously, are radical Israelis who want to treat Palestinians as second-class citizens.

The only reason hams has a grip on anything is because we wont let israel go in and put and end to it. Israel could wip the whole region off the face of the map if they every finally decided to tell us to go fuck ourselves.

Nope not an opinion at all. Thats why the blockade went up to begin with.

Hamas has elected themselves to power over and over. The gaza citezens had very little to do with that.

Let Israel invade and the people will unite against them. There will be a blood path. That sure sounds like a good option. Why can't you see that if Israel stops letting itself be controlled by fundamentalists, Hamas will have less control since they won't have as much political ammunition.
