What is so sad about being religious? Or since when is it bad?

But let’s not go there that’s another discussion.

The video was not about the being religious or about Islam. Suppose the movie had a different title “My Brother the Queer” and instead of Richard becoming and Muslim he becomes gay. Which causes Richard to embrace the gay culture and becomes flamboyantly gay which also causes a breakdown of the family and gets Richard shun not only by his family but from his community as well.

Will you then say it was a “sad” story because he found what he believes is his true calling?

Not that I’m saying that being gay is a choice, but it is common
