Pretty good analogy there. I never looked at it that way. I consider myself right of center, and i find myself listening to the above mentioned with a very critical ear. They all have become far less influential regarding my personal politics when i realized its more about the ratings than anything. I still find Rush to have brilliant moments and some great monologues (many have been rather inspirational over the years), but again i am much more critical of him now.

Case in point, him trying to spin Panettas response and touting it as an admission of water boarding being a successful interrogation tool holds absolutely no water with me and i would like to think most people would see through it as well.
