Thread: Why I hate "hackers"

Saw this from yesterday (I guess) about the Dues Ex site (and apparently Edios site) being hacked by some assholes, with Edios saying user information was stolen and may be published. Obviously if you have account at either site, it is worth changing your password (for any site sharing a similar one). They also apparently stole 9,000 resumes.

What pissed me off though, is the IRC chat log from the assholes:

[16:07] evo: that will bsod on startup
[16:07] evo: fuck up all your drivers
[16:07] evo: delete tons of files
[16:07] evo: forkbom on start
[16:07] evo: etc
[16:08] evo: we put that in an exploit kit
[16:08] evo: on the main page
[16:08] evo: there security will be responsible
[16:08] evo: for like
[16:08] evo: thousands of fucked up computers
[16:08] evo: and it would make the news

And that is why "hackers" usually piss me off, 90% of them see to be complete fucking dicks who are willing to fuck over people for no reason other then wanting to be complete fucking assholes. The other 10% actually have respectful jobs trying to prevent the 90% etc. with the government, and private business.

(by the way, I use "hacker" with the "" because don't consider these assholes anything of the sort, if anything they should really just be call assholes or douchebags, etc.)
