Re: Chinas warning to US
Vietnam - Pointless war. We capitulated and communism didn't take over the world. Which was the rationale for being there, oops.
WW2 - Necessary but none of these old people in charge fought in that war. That war ended 66 years ago meaning the youngest possible combatant alive today would be at least 80 years if not older.

There won't be war with China people, for science's sake. the 40th time this has came up and like fuck I'll go get the numbers over and over, but war with the US would destroy China, most of their exports (and it is a ton) go to the US and NATO allies, starting a war with the US would crumble China's economy in no time flat.

They won't play with their biggest debter, or their biggest customer......so we should be good. Tough talk because there is tension in the area, but they know as well as we do, that we make much better friends than enemies.....at least financially.
Now, if we could just get them to keep the lead out of the mini-bikes, maybe we can stop worrying about our kids eating them, and dealers can sell them again.

I see it the same way as when NK or Iran make threats, they won't do anything but they just want to act like they are one of the big boys, when everyone knows they can't really do shit (in NK/Iran mostly they won't as they'd get destroyed in minutes, China because they need the markets of NATO countries)

Never say never exspecially when history loves to repeat itself. The only thing that would need to change is day movements of chinese troops. A better way to have put it would be its highly unlikely. Bring whatever numbers you wish to the table because i dont seem to recall anyone saying we are going to go to war with china.
