Re: The US Debt
People choose presidents like they purchase TV infomercial products. The more often you see it the more likely Joe and Jane are to "buy it". All the cash that is spent to keep the system the way it is currently would be directed against a President who railed against its current state. He or she would not be elected. The problem is Americans are stupid, unlettered, simpletons. This isn't democrat vs republican cash this would be both of those stockpiles against one idea. The big time cash both those groups gets is not a cash check vote on character but that recipients aptitude to repay the election cost in a net increase of power or profit for the purchaser. People say we have a capitalistic economy, we really have a capitalistic politic whose purpose is to convince you that an already bought and sold individual is going to look after you because you voted for them, when you voted for them only because the cash given to them forced your ballot.

Buffett Calls for Tax Hike on
People invest to make money, and potential taxes have never scared them off,” he said. “And to those who argue that higher rates hurt job creation, I would note that a net of nearly 40 million jobs were added between 1980 and 2000. You know what’s happened since then: lower tax rates and far lower job creation.”DJ Ms. White liked this post
