A US federal jury has convicted five police officers in New Orleans over fatal shootings in the chaotic aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

I think the Jury did a good job. If you remember New Orleans was a shit hole after Katrina. I remember hearing a lot of stories of people looting and robbing each other at gun point. This is my opinion but I think that the cops probably did think they were being shot at and fired back. After they realized that the men were unarmed, they panicked and then proceeded to try to cover up what happened. So they are guilty of covering up the deaths, which should be at least several years in prison.
