There is a big difference between a hypothesis and a theory. You would do well to learn it.

No, he is suggesting that a theory can't be proven wrong, so it must be right, but a hypothesis is just an educated guess.

Thats inaccurate and still makes no sense. Bruce only mention the theory of evolution and that is an accurate satement as to what it is.

You obviously don't know what a scientific theory is, or you wouldn't qualify it with 'only.' Other scientific theories include the germ theory, the cell theory, the atomic theory. Do you believe that illness is due to an imbalance of humors, or demonic possession because the germ theory is just a theory? A theory is a comprehensive explanation for a set of phenomena. It's not a guess, and it's not a hypothesis. Creationism is not a theory, it's nothing. It's no more correct than geocentricism, flat-earthism or belief in demonic possession, and it should be treated with the same mockery. Evolution is the only scientific explanation that we have for the complexity of life, and science is the only system of learning that has produced results.

You're right, you can believe whatever you want. You can believe in unicorns, you can believe that 2+2=3. You're free to have whatever idiotic beliefs that you want, but that freedom doesn't stop those beliefs from being idiotic, and it doesn't prevent the believers from being idiots.

Theory is not hypothesis, and Creationism isn't either one. If alternatives to evolution ever appear, they'll be considered. Creationism is not a scientific alternative to evolution, it's nothing more than mysticism.

And a theory most certainly can be proven wrong. In fact, any scientific theory or hypothesis must be disprovable. That's how you test it. Evolution could easily be shown to be false. We could find human remains in pre-cambrian rock, for example.
