If only that applied to combat you might have a point.

Am I reading this topic right and even Al-Qaeda thinks Ahmadinejad is crazy? If so...wow.

So I should not put in my two cents, but this is the only way I get social interaction that is not related to math.

If this asshole wanted due process he could have said what he said and planed the things he planed on american soil. Otherwise, its warheads on foreheads. Honestly, who didn't think this was how it was going to end for this assclown?

The problem that I see is that, if the President judges you to be dangerous enough and you're a citizen, instead of bringing you to trial as is your right per the Constitution, he can just have you killed...
While it would've been nice for be able to put traitors on trial, as the saying goes if you're caught with the crows, you suffer with the crows. I don't have a problem with us not sending in special forces to capture them just so they can stand trial, because missions like that are inherently more dangerous than normal covert missions where the special forces are just looking to blow shit up. Trying to bring two unwilling prisoners out of a covert strike like that exponentially increases the odds of being discovered, which increases the odds that some of the Americans in the special forces team get killed. Personally, I don't think two traitors are worth it, just to make them stand trial.

I have no problem with them dieing in a convoy attack, and less problem with us not trying to capture them during that attack rather than just kill them. If you're hangin out with Al-Qaida, and you're a member of Al-Qaida, there no reason to have a double standard on whether or not our forces can shoot members of Al-Qaida just because they were Americans at one point....btw, when you turn traitor to America, I don't really consider them to be Americans anymore. You lose your citizenship when you betray your country as far as I'm concerned.

I don't know if they think he is crazy, I think it is more that they don't like he isn't giving them credit for the attack (well in the sense of saying they did it, which in a twisted way probably is credit to Al-Qaeda).

Yeah, it looks like what Al-Qaeda was pissed about was Ahmadinejad not acknowledging that it was them that actually brought the towers down, and instead bringing up one of those conspiracy theories (least it wasn't the one that said we did 9/11 ourselves).
