With how much GE lends to small businesses, most should be outraged that folks are making light of only the bad.

If you think that is bad, there is a study out there of the taxes paid by some of the biggest corporations (and the money they got in subsidies etc.) anyways, Pepsico's 3 year average tax burden was.......

    -56.7%

Thats precisely why i say we need to go to a flat tax. It happens way to often. The loop holes allow those with money a way out of putting into the system. GE is far fromm the only company to do this and if im not mistaken this is like the 5th year for GE to pay 0. Shit some even got returns worth millions. The old threads thread for this when it was ttp had some good references.

Clearly the only way to fix this is to cut taxes! A 0% effective tax rate is way too big of a burden for these companies! It's class warfare!

If I were them I'd do the same. If we want to solve this problem, then get rid of the loop holes and fix the system. I'm not going to fault someone for wanting to keep more of their money. I do it every year on my 1040
