Actually, astrophysics is not simply because the systems under study are too complex for exact calculations; rather, approximate models are used.

Not entirely no. We can use it here for what we can actually get to. Anything we cant get to we cant prove. So no it isnt an exact science. That doesnt mean im trying to demean the entire thing though. Im all for studying the unknown but lets study something that can actually help us.
