Re: I guess he was pretty il...
BS. Its no easier to cover up shit like this in the military then it is in washington. I'm not even trying to say shit doesn't happen. It just happens less frequently in the military then it does in politics. The reason for that is there are actual consequences for your actions.

Theres a chain of command. A cpl doesnt walk up to the commanding officer and question his orders. He questions to the sgt and it goes up each rung until its there. Very seldom does it not work that way. I did on one occasion after being asked by the COIC who was Capt. Swanson at the time what i thought of the new equipment he was planning on procuring for our unit. After our conversation he took it to those above him and the entire thing was scrapped Corps wide. Some were happy others were not but in the end the equipment was garbage and i let him know that.
Its not that different then politics when it comes down to this type of shit. You dont get to walk into the white house and question the president either. There is a chain of command as well.

correct, so how often do you question orders that seem really fishy?
(this question is really tricky, as I assume for you to basically give me the same answer)
So how would Anyone know what is and isn't getting covered up?

So we got deathgod in here advocating that a military junta would be better than we what we have now, that the solution to any problem is war, and that the US instills fear into every other country in the world. LOL, just can't make this shit up anymore. He has no understanding of geopolitics on any level whatsoever.
