All major roads were reopened just after 1:00 p.m. and the Texas Medical Center reopened Garage 2 shortly after 3:00 p.m. Representatives inspected their areas in Mays Clinic and the Duncan Building to find all business units, including the Data Center and outpatient surgery, unaffected and ready for business this morning.
Over the next several weeks, contractors will remove more than 4,000 dump truck loads of debris. Once the site is cleared, it will be converted to a park-like setting and the statue "Wave of Life" will return to its original home.

timed charges perhaps? At least I think that would explain them as they needed the bldg to collapse in a very percise manner and direction otherwise there would've been hundreds of millions of dollars of damage to the surrounding bldgs.
