Re: A sad day in Texas
I'm not real sure anyone read the article. They are still continuing the production of the DP with cane sugar. Only difference will be Dublin bottling company will not be distributing it. Sad day for Dublin Bottling Company, sure. For the consumer, doesn't look that way.

Yes, and in game VoIP will be fully functional in BF3 tomorrow. I know they are saying all the right things, but if that were the case how come for the last MANY years the Dublin bottling facility was the ONLY one making DP with pure cane sugar. My guess is they do it for a while, then say it is not cost effective, and adios.

sheesh.
Why is Dr Pepper no longer bottled in Dublin?
Dublin Bottling Works and Dr Pepper Snapple Group reached an agreement in January 2012 that transferred the bottling and distribution rights for Dr Pepper products to Dr Pepper Snapple Group. The same Dr Pepper made with pure cane sugar is still available for sale in Dublin, although Dublin Bottling Works no longer bottles Dr Pepper products.
