I remember reading about a local case where they made somebody do that... Of course he couldnt, so they gave him a DUI. He took it to court and then the judge asked the officer to do it. The officer couldn't, so he threw it out.
Law enforcement has a certain tests/evaluations for DUI/DWI's. Finger to nose, holding arms out w/ leg stick out, walking the line, etc..
The trick to those tests (especially walking the line)... FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. If he/she says to walk 10 steps, turn, and walk back.. do just that. Don't walk 9 or 11 steps.
