The nice thing is that my aunt, who's essentially the matriarch, is going down to Austin to spend the weekend with her, and next weekend, her friends are taking her to DC for a few days.

After talking with my sister last night, my aunt is even more awesome now. OK
-the dog she gave my sister? Flown in from a breeder in North Carolina
-gave my sister a bunch of money
-is going to pay for my sister's grad school at SMU
-took my sister out to get drunk off of several bottles of high end champagne

I also found out that my ex-brother-in-law kept the big nice sauce pan (we're talking really high end here) along with the very expensive dutch oven that had been seasoning for the last four years. Oh, and he forgot them when he moved. He went back to get them the next day, but got flustered, so he just gave up looking for them. The chick he was cheating on my sister with is also nowhere near as good looking as my sister. He got told by his mentor at work that he's a failure.

Not much of a mentor if hes calling him a failure. Sounds like the mentor needs a new line of work. Plus i thought dutch ovens were free and why would you keep the sheets long enough for them to become "seasoned"?
