Alright, so I just ordered a bunch of ammo online and managed to get free shipping for a 30 pound package, which is sweet.

Problem is - I work from 7:30 - 5:00 and UPS delivers somewhere in that time period and requires an adult's signature. So I try to contact UPS ahead of time and ask if it's possible to have them deliver to the UPS store in town and that I could sign for it there. Nope! Not without a charge. Well how about you hold the package at the service center that I have to drive 20 miles to get to instead of trying to deliver. I already know I won't be home, so it's a waste of your driver's and my time to wait the extra day for me to pick it up after a failed attempt. NOPE!

It's not the most horrible thing to wait an extra day, but by trying to be helpful and arrange things early is near impossible. It also sucks that even after the first day, I can't change the delivery location to a UPS store because it's a different franchise or some shit, and it would cost me. I obviously don't think having 1000 rounds of ammo sent to me at work (on a naval base) is a very good idea either. So here's to a nice little drive across the $8.00 round trip bridge o suck up to the service station later this week (assuming they are open during the hours that I can actually go to get the fucking box).

Blargh.
