apts roomates& texas
so most peoples fantasies are exotic locations and luxury. mine are a normal life. so just feeding my fantasies i ponder things a simple living space and a miserable minimum wage job.
and i know the cost of living varies from state to state. and texas dunno least online the people seem friendly. so i ponder things like the min wage. here in nm its like 10$ and some change an hour.
and how aparments and roomates work like i think around here apts are like 900$ a month not sure how many bedrooms that is and stuff and like bandwidth when you have a roomate does each person have thier own connection do they share bandwidth? and would most people like or dislike a roomate who kept to them self probably 80-90% of the time

You have to know who you're moving in with. It isn't a college dorm where you can just get another room if things go sour. I've heard many stories from people I know who've had a roommate disappear overnight, stiff them on something, or damage something and then move out. I, luckily, haven't had any issues as of yet.
Cost of living rent for Texas varies depending on location and extras (but what residency doesn't?) Expect to pay between $500 and $1200 a month on average for just overhead rent on a place before roommate divisions. Budget up to $200 extra for utilities (electric, trash, water.) $75 or less for internet on top. Pet deposits and charges vary if you have any critters. If your name is on the lease, ALWAYS have severance money stashed away even if you trust your roommate with your life.
Just some food for thought based on my own experiences.~The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all worlds. The pessimist fears it true.
I just say "I like cookies!" and leave it at that.~

Texas is a fine place to live. I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone. Cost of living is below average here, but I don't frequent the foofoo areas.
I have thankfully never had a roommate, immediately struck out on my own & made it work. Having the woman move in doesn't count.
When you set your goals for minimum wage jobs, you'll always be successful.

Well, I can tell you for certain that the cost of living is lower in TX.
My sister lives in NM.
My ex-wife and her mother live in NM.
You wouldn't believe the prices.
You can buy a decent real home in Texas, for what a mediocre mobile home would cost you in NM. It's ridiculous.
