We did that. The problem was finding someone with clean songs and getting it so we could have a little variety as lack of variety also kills stations.

For the multicomp thing....oh we want multiple computers for handling playing music, but we can make it work on one computer so it will never get approved.

I don't think you're getting behind the spirit of the argument. It's obviously NOT working on one computer.

This is the equivalent of an office with no windows, one lamp, and no spare lightbulbs. Anyone asking what will happen if the one bulb burns out is missing the point. The question is what will happen WHEN the one bulb burns out.

All that aside, good luck on your finals. One way to look at college is that the reason you're there is to leave. I admire the passion you put into college radio, but it's not your career.

Funny you mention lightbulbs and only having one...God I wish I was joking.

Us: we'd like to send our GM to NAB to find better software and training methods. As you can see, it's well within our budget and is quite needed. This would better enable us to serve our students and ultimately help reduce long term costs.

Oh god...new driver works beautifully but the RAID enclosure failed, killing all of the drives, and the guy in charge of making back ups had left the back up drive in there for the last month apparently so it is borked as well...

I called up the guy replacing me...asked him if he could bring up the music he was going to triple our library with (not trolling I swear). He said, "Yeah, it's all ready to go essentially." I asked how many songs...he said, "600"...I cried partly because 600 songs is nowhere near enough for rotation and because the guy who is replacing me thought that we only had 300 songs in rotation when we had 3k.

Going to be a long fucking rest of quarter.

I forgot to mention how my replacement kept asking about what type of hardware a driver was and how much it would cost.
