And here is a shocking video of some jerkwad spewing misinformation to teens at a high school:

I agree with one comment on the youtube site:
"Europe is laughing at us"

Penn and Teller on Abstinence
If you promote abstinence, you are essentially advocating the end of the entire human race.
Just wear a condom that has spermicide on it, have her on the pill, and make certain you have the morning after pill just in case someone screws up. Odds say that all will be fine.

Penn and Teller on Abstinence
The school system is supposed to provide the basic information that a young person needs to live and succeed in society. By teaching abstinence only, you're neglecting the reality of the situation and failing to provide crucial information that a person needs to succeed in society.
Look at the crap the schools spew out:
"Masturbation is wrong!" - Yet, almost 100% of adults do it.
"Wait to marriage!" - Few people do and few people ever did. With a 50+% divorce rate and the high rate of affairs, what is the point? If you're gay or bi, what does that mean for you?
"Abstinence only!" - By the time they teach this, a high percentage of people already have had or are actively engaging in sex. The rest are probably curious about it and most will try it eventually with no or very little information on how to do it safely.
Only an idiot would support abstinence only. It's not practical, it excludes a large amount of people right off the bat, and it doesn't teach a person anything.
At least the Internet exists now, where a person can actually get relevant, accurate information before making a decision.
