Thread: Snow White and the Huntsman

Just saw it and it was fantastic. It was a great movie and all of the actors/actresses did a fantastic job, yes, even Kristen Stewart. I don't think it's her fault twilight sucks, it's that she plays a character with no depth or personality. In snow white and the huntsman, she played a more believable and developable character even if she is the least developed out of the rest of the cast. Some of the characters weren't quite as well developed as I was hoping but there was enough there to make a solid movie. Way better writing than I was expecting.

Anybody else see it? thinking of seeing it? There was A LOT more fantasy in it than the trailers let on, I was thoroughly surprised and impressed with the lore and the CG quality. Not the best movie of the summer, but still a great flick.

I was worried about that one. The preview in the theater made it look like it was trying too hard.

i liked her in adventure land

I saw it this weekend expecting a disney movie.. I went fork in hand, ready to poke my eyes out.

Much more lord of the rings style if I were to compare it to anything. There were a few slow parts/moments. The CG and story were far better than expected. Overall a good experience (you can leave your fork at home).

She was a terrible Snow white. I wasn't convinced at all by her the whole movie. Other than that, it was watchable. Still not that good, but watchable.

I liked it well enough. Predictable mostly due to the fact that everyone knows the story so we knew where most of the plot points were going to happen. But it was reasonably well acted. CG was pretty good.

Some parts were a little forced it felt like though. And Kristen Stewart does what she does best. Look like a cardboard cutout most of the time. But everyone else I thought did a decent job making a story that's very well known into something enjoyable and fun to watch.

I give it a 7 out of 10.
