And by diet I mean mega sinus infection from hell that hasn't responses to three different antibiotics. I've lost twelve pounds in five days due to this shit.

Worst part is that I'm not sure I'd its just a sinus infection. I usually get them once per year...doc prescribes amoxicillian and two to three days later I'm great again. This time it didn't respond at all to the amox...got a shot of a different ab in my hip and then was given a new script for levo..something and that hasn't cleared it up. Worst part is that I've lost all appetite since Wednesday. I've been forcing myself to eat applesauce or yogurt or fruitcups just so I have something in my stomach. I tried to fix some soup one day but the smell made me vomit immediately. Most strong smells are giving me that feeling now actually.

Going back in to my doc tomorrow (downside of private practice is a lot of times there are no office hours on weekends). Worst sinus infection ever.

That sucks. Infections suck, and sometimes amoxicillian just doesn't cut it. Also, your body can build up an immunity to antibiotics over time, so previously described antibiotics may not be able to help your current infection.

Hang in there and I hope things go well at the Doc tomorrow.

3 antibiotics later sounds awful... I imagine it is a nasty bug.

A shot of whiskey with honey and lemon every 2 hours works better then any antibiotic. Thats why drunks only miss work when they're still to drunk to work.

Just an update. Day 7 and still not better. Doc sent off for some cultures of my throat and I should hear more today. He mentioned its possible that I have multiple things going on and the medication only treats one of them.

Went back into the office this morning, probably won't last much longer. Ran out of pto and will probably have to go negative if this keeps up.

Still losing weight....still running a 100 degree temp...but it has gone down a few tenths of a degree. This shit sucks. Also I have my lil bro in town since last week so we haven't gotten to do anything at all.

Fever is finally down to under 99. Doc took blood samples and a chest xray today and got some new meds.

These new meds are supposed to be pretty Badass. Have to take them with other meds so they don't Fuck up my intestines
