07-10-12, 06:23 PM #1Email piles up
Spent my afternoon wading through and deleting thousands and thousands of emails and setting up labels across a few different accounts. My inbox on my main is now down to a touch over 150. Not bad if I do say so myself. Anybody else have problems keeping their email under control? Lol
Here's to hoping they never pile that high again

Re: Email piles up
i use outlook 2010 (i know right), but only because it has rules (much MUCH more advanced version of gmails labels). I have 19 email accounts, with ... 42 rules, inbound emails sort themselves
Today I received 100+ valid emails (not spam or junk, would be four to five digits if junk and spam was included), inbox has 6 emails in it.
Normally I berate microsoft, but outlook is actually pretty kick ass (even better when your university provides it for free via msdnaa)

Re: Email piles up
I get near 100-200 legit emails a day.
I have some fairly custom filters setup on gmail, using AND OR NOT, alot....
almost everything coming in gets labeled by one or more labels, if it somehow gets through all of them its cause I have been lazy in updating the filter....
Also another thing that will bite me eventually... most of my emails have attachments near 20MB..... it fills up quick, I might have to *shudder* delete something eventually.-- Intentionally Left Blank --
