AC issues dont show up on diagnostics computers. Yours was probably the egr valve. It will make the vehicle run like ass when it isnt working properly. When it goes out completely newer vehicles wont run at all.

Pshh my cars lights constantly fluxuate, headlights, stereo, everything. Makes night driving more interesting. I have a bad sensor but I dont think theres any way to know which of 8 it is, so my options are pretty limited.

The only reason it should do that without running an amped system is a short. Whether its a wire or the alt i dont know without looking at the car. If your running a system you need to at least put a cap in and most likely a larger alt.

Meh car is only worth 500-1000 (Blue book) its closing in on 10 years of semi rough treatment (high school, college, ect) so I figure I dont need to put to much work into it. Thinking of picking up a nice new cheap car.
