This guy gets my number from someone else that i have worked for in my little side shit of working on cars. I dont charge much its mostly just to burn time. Anyway he calls me up about his vw jetta with an ac issue.

I go look at it and tell him the fan isnt coming on when it should be but it might not be the main problem. Of which is the ac starts when it feels like it and quits when it feels like. Coincidentally when its not blowing cold air the fan shuts down but the compressor continues to work.

I bring it back to my house so it will be there when its cold and more prone to issues. I hook my gauges up to it and low side is sitting at 85 lbs, no fan running but the compressor is pumping away. Eventually it warms up just a bit the fan kicks on and it starts pumping cold air.

I call him up and tell him he has a check valve getting stuck inside the compressor. Of which means there is most likely metal fragments in the system so he needs a new compressor, drier, and expansion valve due to contamination.

He gets pissed off tells me im wrong and compressors dont go out like that in some choice language. So my response is simple. If you know so much about this shit why did you call me? Why didnt you fix it yourself seeing as you know more about this shit then i do? Did you know vw ac's are prone to this exact break down? Come get your piece of shit vw and lose my number fucker.

Thats what you fucking get for buying a damn german car with an engine built in fucking poland dipshit. German engineering lol my ass.

Can you believe the fucker text messages me to go ahead and fix it? LOL Way to get a good price piss me off then ask for it to be done. On the up side what i would normally charge 200 bucks for (replacing everything) plus parts just went up 250%. I see new window regulators for my car being ordered monday or maybe a lambo kit for the doors. Then again i do need a welder and making the hinges would be good practice.
