Several of my buddies are giving talks this year. One of my good friends has won the amateur league the last 3 years running and now has a lifetime seat in the pro league. I don't think he has to pay ever again to get in.

It was an interesting event. Watching all the drunk people (people watching) alone is worth the entry cost in my opinion. I attended several talks that pertained directly to my job and my boss was really impressed with the overview of things I learned when we talked this morning. Next year I will make sure to get a closer hotel and I will bring a laptop to participate in amateur capture the flag.

It was 5 hour drive for me back to AZ, glad you made it back safe. Next year (if you are there again) we will have to do dinner away from the convention.
