Met this girl...27-28, has one child...and would like to have a daughter. She said she wants a serious relationship.

We start talking and she said she liked me and knew I liked her.

I get a text from her:

"What ya doing?'

"Watching TV, you at work?"

"No, I'm hanging out with friends."

"Oh ok."

"I think I finally met someone"

"Huh?"

"I think I finally met someone"

"A guy?"

"Yea"

"

"

"Sorry...I still wanna be friends"

Gee....thanks for not even giving me a chance.

Dude, I would never even respond to her again, as far as you should be concerned it's her loss and you should never even waste another breath talking to her or texting her. She will one day realize that she missed out on a good guy and it will be her burden, move on to the next one. I really think that if there is the (What If) with a man and a woman you can never be friends like she is saying. The only way a guy and a girl can in fact be friends is if you put it out there constantly that there are no feelings with that woman so that there are no misinterpretations for either one of you. I currently have several women that are friends of mine but I know as well as they know I will never go there with them, so we are all just good buddies. This is the first time in my life to accomplish this because I have always had an idea in the back of my head which is the “maybe it will evolve” with all of the women in the past I tried to be friends with; it just got in the way. Blow her off and don’t look back is my advice, it may be harsh but it’s better than wasting the time seeing if she will come around.
Screw that friend zone crap, your young and should be having some fun!
