Bow Hunters

Anyone in TPG do any bow hunting? Bow season here in South Texas starts on September 29th and I just bought a loaded Mathews RIOT compound about a week ago and am ready to split some fur. Anybody else getting down this year? If so, what kind of bow and setup are ya'll using?

I have a Hoyt havoc. I go a couple of times per season if the ducks ain't flying.

My dad is into traditional longbow hunting. For years he made his own longbows and his own arrows. They are pretty legit too, multiple kinds of woods and stained with some gorgeous stains. I'll throw up some pics next time I see him.
