You go from confident and prepared to meltdown mode.
Jeezemus.
So suddenly everything is about to change in my life and I thought I was completely prepared. I had movers coming on friday to pack my place up (now moved to tomorrow) and I feel completely unprepared. I have a final in my class tomorrow, followed by only one more week of classes. Then I leave Rhode Island for my trip to TN to visit family / go to a wedding. Hit Kansas City to meet my newborn niece, then finish the trip to San Diego.
Once I get to San Diego I have to get all of my furniture packed away into a storage unit, meet like 50 million people on base, check in, and get ready to fly out to Bahrain whenever they say GOGOGOGO! Moving / deploying / just about everything coming up in the next 3 - 4 weeks is entirely new to me and suddenly I'm going absolutely fucking nuts.
THEN once I get to Bahrain I'll turn over with the guy I'm relieving and I'll be responsible for maintaining the stock / food service / port visit costs / etc for my ship (millions of dollars that I'm accountable for) and have a bunch of people below me.
All of this is AWESOME, yet I'm now in freak out mode and still have many hours of cleaning / preparing for the move left... sigh, where did all the time go?
