..when you miss your old car.
1970 Chevy Malibu, that's not the exact car (I don't think, anyway) but it looked the same. Silver paint, black vinyl roof, and bench seats. (Mine had the stock wheels though, and the engine was 305/307) I got it for like $2000, back in 1991-1992. I should've never gotten rid of it.

I miss my first two cars (sold the first to get the second...no room for cello).
First was a 92 (93?) BMW Z3, stick shift with only 20k miles (this was in 2002). Second was a Malibu fully loaded except for Turbo (would have increased insurance A LOT) and car phone (had cell phone).
I like my car now, but moon roof+white leather seats (my rational for getting them was in case I was a DD)...enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Re: ..when you miss your old car.
My 99 f-150 has the 4.2 v-6. You cant kill the damn thing. Over 250k miles still runs like its brand new with the original trans. Shes gotten pretty beat up over the years doing flooring and taken a few impacts in the rear. So im looking for a replacement bed. If the engine ever goes i think i'll drop in my 400 sb while i rebuild the 6. She's been such a good truck i dont see me ever trading her in. You just cant beat fords when it comes to trucks.

Aint that the goddam truth!!! My straight 6 had 220,000miles when i traded her in, I didnt want to get rid of her at all, But the entire rear of the truck was about to snap, That thing had seen its days, My uncle bought her brand new in 91, Gave her to me when i turned 16, She was hit by 3deer in the bed. Both gas tanks had leaks till i replaced the one, but dam that motor ran like a top everyday and never gave me problems starting her, When i traded her in they gave me 1000 for the trade in, I was shocked.
