Stupid enough to give a pro sports franchise the nickname "Pelicans"! I vote that the New Orleans team pay whatever they have to pay to get the Jazz name back. There is no Jazz in Utah anyway. Then allow the Hornets to go back to the Charlotte franchise. Maybe Utah could be the Amish, or the Elks, or anything other than the Jazz. Stupid name is indeed stupid.

you Utah can have the Bobcats name, then NO can have Jazz back and Charlotte can have Hornets back

Actually Hornets makes decent sense for Utah, or better would be like "The Sting" or something (Utah wanted to be Deseret iirc, which meant honeybees). Then make New Orleans the Jazz again.

Of course, that would of never happened because brand recognition and blah blah blah (basically legitimate concerns generally, but with the NBA it'd be bullshit concerns, again imo).
