Sanchez didn't do crap for the Jets this year ... I would argue that Sanchez didn't do any more for the Jets than Tebow did ... and perhaps even less. If crappy qb's are your standard then by your def. Tebow should have every expectation to be a starter in this league.

As I said before, Tebow's boni fide as a QB is debatable. Hoge being an asshole is not. What he said and how he did it was weak and bad form at best. Tebow can actually work to improve his passing skills, unfortunately for Hoge, being an ass seems to be his form. I think Hoge is just a hater, colored green.

I've said my piece about Hoge. I'm not going to dwell on it any longer. He's probably gotten more attention from his bitter little rant than his entire career.

As for Tebow ... I'm not going to waste time debating his skills. Last I saw, he did okay ... better than the starter for the Jets this season and better than a number of other starters on various teams. If/when he actually plays QB for another team, we'll see if he can actually get the job done.

I can agree that Sanchez didn't do shit for the Jets this year, and part of that is that he no longer had the great run game and dominant defense to rely on. Tebow and Sanchez are both shitty QBs, the only difference being Sanchez is an NFL-caliber shitty QB while Tebow is a college-caliber QB. There's no shame in not being able to make the jump, a LOT of college QBs aren't suited for the NFL.

As for Tebow being able to work on and improve his passing skills....he's been trying that since he was drafted. Even before the draft he spent the entire offseason working on his throwing motion....and to this day it hasn't really changed. It's exceedingly difficult to fix Tebow's accuracy, because the shitty accuracy comes from terrible mechanics. Essentially a QB coach would have to teach Tebow how to throw all from scratch, because his footwork is bad and his throwing motion is worse.
