I like playing baseball. I like the World Series. I don't watch baseball.

However, I am a sports fan and remain mildly interested in most sports. That they decided no one was worthy of selection for the Hall of Fame makes a statement (I think). I like the idea that people don't give into that idea that somebody "must" be selected.

I feel the same way about the MNC ... the "need" to crown a "champion" for football that is the product of some sort of playoff at the college level is similar (for me) ... another time, another thread ...
