    Another reason I like that Benelli R1......I can beat the shit out of it, and won't have any regrets. No nice wood stock to dent or scratch, and I won't feel bad about setting it in the snow while I am taking a bio break. Beat it like a red-headed step-child, clean it up, and pull it out next year.

    All good reasons to go with that particular stock.

    Yeah, I have shitloads of my families guns that are safe queens. They only see the light of day when I take them out to oil them up and remember the history of who's they were. Many have great sentimental value and stories.
