I want to believe him because he sounds like a good kid, and let's be honest, he is still a kid, BUT...

He claims he met her in person in '09 at Stanford. Obvious lie.
His parents claim she came to Hawaii during the summer while he was home. Obvious lie.
He continued to speak of her as though she were real AFTER the alleged phone call saying it was a hoax. Obvious continuation of lies.

So, either he told these lies because he wants to hide something, that he is gay or can't pick up ladies in real life, or he was in on it. At least in my opinion.

Yes, I am sure we were all shining examples of what society should be like at 22/3, right? I am sure we never did anything stupid, or to get attention. I am 37, and have friends that I play games with here that are in their early to mid 20s, and yes, I consider many of them kids, and I am sure that in 10-15 years they will look back on the stuff they are doing now and think how stupid and immature it is, just like I do about stuff I did in my early to mid 20s.
