He supposedly met a girl online, they "dated" online for awhile, then she "died" of cancer (leukemia I think). Afterwards Te'o and the rest of the world found out the girl was never real to begin with, and was a hoax perpetrated by some dude whose name I can't spell lol.

The same day his grandmother (real as far as we know) passed away ... Supposedly this inspired him to have an awesome day against Michigan ....

So the guy I'm not going to try to remember to spell, told Dr. Phil he is gay and fell in love with Teo (or something like that). As you think about it, it at least gives the Teo being gay a bit more credibility, in the sense that the "girlfriend" was really "boyfriend," which would explain saying they met etc.

Though it doesn't also work with the death thing, or the supposed call later about not actually being dead. Since, A) Why kill her off, and B) If you were to get rid of the fake, why not something less dramatic?

So the interview was today, with Ronaiah not being gay, he is just confused (sureeee). Also they supposedly (The fake GF and Teo) broke up 2 weeks before Teo's grandmother died, then Ronaiah killed off the GF when Teo said he never wanted to speak to her (Fake GF) again.

So, according to that account Teo lied to gain something (since he kept saying it was his GF despite they supposedly broke up 2 weeks prior).
