I know in Texas, (dunno if it's a law or not.. I believe it's just kind of like an unwritten rule/law).. but most/majority of bars and stores who sell alcohol will ask for ID if you look like you're under 40.

I always see signs by the registers where you check out which says something to that effect - even though, the majority of the times they never ask... I guess that's what happens when you're a frequent shopper.

Yeah, I know I rarely get carded when I go out or to the liquor store. The last time was when I actually was out with a friend who worked there and they were like you have to card everyone. But yeah, I guess I just look old.
