Your parents are hardasses and wont compromise.

So, My mom and i have a discussion few nights ago about being able to afford certain things how money is becoming tight for them etc etc. She talks about there being less food in the house (NBD) as i eat at work or go out to eat most of the time. Not once does she mention that she wants me to start paying More money ontop of what i already pay them for food, And also tells me not to tell my father that we had this discussion.

Fast forward to last night. At midnight, She comes into my room and brings up the conversation we had a few nights ago and said that during that convo i agreed to pay 1/3 of the cost of the food shopping for the house (this was never discussed, we only talked about how tight things are gonna be) To which i had stated not to worry about me ill take care of myself like i always have.

Needless to say, It sparks an argument because i never agreed to paying them more money for food. Heres how i feel about the situation. Forgetting the fact that i have been giving my parents money since i got my first job (16) I bring home cases of water, Razors for my dad and i, Coffee creamer, Bread, eggs. You name it i bring it home more times then not for them. My mom approached me without my dad knowing few days ago, tells me not to bring it up around my father, then goes and brings it up around my father stating that i said id help pay for food. Now its my word against hers because i didnt tell my father we had this discussion and of course he takes her side and believes her.

I feel backstabbed by my own mother, and pissed off that theyd even ask me to pay more money when they just spent 5grand on a fucking motorhome. Granted i dont pay alot, but i do my fair share around here and its never good enough, So ive spent my whole day trying to compromise and even cooked them dinner for tonight knowing im going out and its STILL not good enough....Time for me to move out? I think so.
