Re: You crash your pride and joy
The cars worth more to me then any cost to fix. I will not be junking it, i will be rebuilding her, After further assessment today im up to about 1500 in just front end parts, suspension is a different story. If i start ripping her apart and finding bigger problems then i may junk her, but im gonna at least try and save her.

Re: You crash your pride and joy
Yea no shit. I said that like 50times. Dont act like because of ONE incident it makes someone a bad person or a bad driver, it doesnt. Everyone has a lapse in judgment, Could i have killed someone? Yes. Could i have seriously injured myself my passenger or any innocent bystander? Yes i could have. Did i? No. Did i own up to my mistake and take responsibility? Yes. So please dont come in here and talk down to me like i dont know what i did.

Also forgot to mention, This all happened in an empty parking lot, Sooo there was NO Danger to anyone but myself, It could have been a lot worse. I dont ever drive reckless no matter where i am, this was a momentary lapse of judgement, fueled by rage.

Re: You crash your pride and joy
lol the good of not endangering anyone else is almost outweighed by the fact that you managed to crash in an empty lot.

While this is true, it was 11pm, Half the lot was lit (not very well) other half was dark as night. If you were in the car or i took you to the spot youd understand why i didnt see it till it was too late. Still, if i didnt hit the brakes when i did and dig the nose into the curb, i woulda fucked up ALOT more then just the pieces i did.

My girl wrecked my car a few weeks back. It sucked, but she is okay, and it is just a car. Your car should never be your pride and joy. Money can replace it, then it isnt of much value.
