    I got a federal refund of $3 this year. A lot of people would think that's a perfect scenario as you aren't lending any money to the government interest free.

    Personally I'd rather a large refund. Kinda like having a yearly savings account.

    yeah, but what are their property taxes? Like .5%?
    I Would imagine if you rent, then it feels pretty nice.

    My preference would be to pay about $1,000 during tax season. Not enough to piss them off and just enough to have used some of their money.

    My school loan interest boosted my state and federal returns about 600 more than i was expecting. after both state and federal looking at a return of about 1800. Ill be quiet now.
